Four of the SIX injured Orlando Pirates players are defenders

Orlando Pirates have a total of four defenders injured but that did not stop them from keeping a cleansheet against MC Alger on Tuesday.

The Buccaneers edged out the Algerian side 1-0 away CAF Champions League quarter-final first leg. Jose Riveiro’s men played without key playes such as Patrick Maswanganyi but managed to contain MC Alger. The 26-year-old who has been sidelined due to injury, did not make it to the traveling squad as he continues to receive treatment for a quad strain injury.
