Google Wallet has officially launched in Pakistan, offering users a convenient way to manage digital payments, loyalty cards, and travel essentials.
The service allows users to add cards from several major banks, including Bank AlFalah, Bank of Punjab, Faysal Bank Noor, HBL, JazzCash, Meezan Bank, and UBL. More banks, such as Allied Bank, Easypaisa Digital Bank, JS Bank, and Zindigi, are expected to be integrated soon.
To set up Google Wallet, users can download the app from the Google Play Store. If they already have an eligible card linked to their Google account, it will appear in Google Wallet, and they can follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
For new cards, users can add them directly through the app by reviewing and accepting the issuer’s terms and completing the verification process.
Google Wallet also supports digital items like boarding passes from airlines such as Batik Air and Thai Airways, as well as tickets booked through platforms like Bookme.pk and Sastaticket.pk. Users can store loyalty cards, such as Naheed loyalty cards, for easy access.
With Google Wallet, users can make contactless payments using their Android phones or Wear OS devices at merchants that accept Google Pay.
The service also facilitates seamless online transactions and provides a convenient way to manage travel documents, enhancing the overall user experience.
