It’s officially the worst-kept secret of MAFS Australia 2024 that Jacqui Burfoot is now in a relationship with Clint Rice. She’s living in his extensive mansion in Tasmania, and he keeps popping up in the background of all her TikTok videos. But it’s been a mystery as to how and when they actually got together. Now, Jacqui has finally explained how she ended up living with Clint after MAFS Australia. Here’s a deep-dive into what we know about their relationship, and how they got together.
Jacqui and Clint liked each other while filming MAFS, but didn’t get together straightaway
Jacqui denied flirting with Clint while filming episodes of MAFS Australia. She said on TikTok: “Clint and I definitely weren’t flirting. I’m just a very bubbly person.”
When she first met Clint at a dinner party, she “straight away got a really good vibe from him”. She said: “I had a sense of ‘Oh gosh, this is great, maybe he’ll calm everybody down at the dinner parties’, because I really struggled at the dinner parties, because everyone was always yelling.”

She continues, “And I was like, ‘This is someone I really want to get to know and be friends with because he’s probably be really chill and calm and I’ll be able to talk to someone normal for a change… someone who doesn’t need to scream at the top of their lungs to get their point across.”
Clint invited Jacqui to his house after Final Vows
Jacqui finally went into detail about how she and Clint got together on the Australian radio show Fifi, Fev & Nick.
She said: “If you speak to Clint, he will explain that out of the group that I’m the most normal girl, down to earth, and [a girl] who doesn’t take herself too seriously.
“He reached out to me and wanted to get to know me. And after Final Vows, he invited me down to Tassie [Tasmania] to spend some time with him.
“We do have a 14-year age gap, so I was a little nervous about that, but after meeting him, the age gap didn’t matter. It didn’t affect us at all. Clint is a successful businessman, and we’re both going into business together now. Life is looking great.”
We know filming for MAFS 2025 wrapped up in September 2024. Jacqui and Clint show up to the MAFS Australia reunion together, and this was filmed in November 2024.
Jacqui and Clint appear to have been living together in Launceston by February 2025. They were spotted on a date together on International Women’s Day, and Jacqui started posting pictures of herself in Clint’s house with his dogs in late February.
They seem very happy together
Jacqui told The Tab: “My relationship with Clint is going very, very, very, very, well. We are committed to each other. We do see a life partnership in each other. We are making future plans.”
She and Clint have already started yet more business side quests together. Jacqui says she and Clint are going on the TV show The Amazing Race together.
