Jacqui has been a character all throughout MAFS Australia 2025 so far. At every corner, there’s something going on with her. And now, Jacqui has shared the brutal reason she was wearing a coloured dress during her MAFS wedding to Ryan.
As we saw, Jacqui and Ryan had a pretty eventful MAFS wedding. It was a wild ride from start to finish. She had clear doubts about if they were a good match, and Ryan seemed more fussed that everyone knew loud and clear that he is a *warrior*. His image wasn’t at all helped when he tried to romantically dance with his bride, but dropped her on the floor.
When they first met, it felt a bit more like a job interview. Jacqui listed off all of her hobbies and jobs, and Ryan didn’t really seem to get her at all. But, she’s obviously not that fussed by it all, as she hinted when answering a question about her day on TikTok.
Jacqui was asked why she wore blue on her wedding day, instead of a more traditional white dress. I mean, I thought it was purple but I guess we’ll move on from that.

“The reason is, it wasn’t a real wedding,” she matter of factly said. “I wanted to have fun. I submitted three different options. My first choice was actually a white beaded gown, but the producers loved the blue. I was like, ‘f*ck it who cares’, it’s like not a real wedding.”
She brutally added: “When I wear white I want it to be for my real wedding. And also, I just wanted to do something different.” Jacqui did clarify that the dress still was a wedding gown, from a bridal shop. “I felt like it was so modern, and just fun really,” she said.
