Justin Bieber has admitted he ‘hate himself’ when he changes to ‘please people’.

The 31-year-old singer, who has dismissed ‘exhausting’ concerns over his health in recent weeks, has opened up about his mental state in a candid post on social media.

He shared a video with his Instagram followers of himself playing keyboard during a jam session with other musicians as he seemed to be in good spirits.

He wrote in the caption: ‘I think I hate myself sometimes when I feel myself start to become inauthentic.

‘Then I remember we’re all being made to think we’re not enough but I still hate when I change myself to please people.’

In another post earlier in the day, he shared another honest reflected and said: ‘I got anger issues too, but I wanna grow and not react so much smh.’

The Baby hitmaker has found himself under the microscope in recent weeks, after concerns over seemingly erratic behaviour on social media last month.

A couple of weeks ago, Justin opened up on imposter syndrome in a heartbreaking statement on Instagram.

‘People told me my whole life “wow Justin u deserve that,”’ he wrote. ‘I personally have always felt unworthy. Like I was a fraud. Like when people told me I deserve something, it made me feel sneaky like, damn if they only knew my thoughts.

‘How judgemental I am, how selfish I really am. They wouldn’t be saying this. I say all this to say. If you feel sneaky welcome to the club. I definitely feel unequipped and unqualified most days.’

Despite concern for the Canadian pop star, his representatives previously denied speculation regarding drug use, calling the rumours ‘harmful’.

Shortly after the denial, Justin shared videos on social media in which he was seen smoking from a bong and rapping about being ‘high’.

Meanwhile, a source previously told Page Six that his wife Hailey was ‘really concerned’ about him.

‘Justin is going through a hard time and Hailey is doing her best to be there for him, but there’s only so much she can do,’ they said.

A different source told the Daily Mail that she doesn’t know ‘where to turn’ for ‘help’.

Justin has been candid several times on social media in recent months, as he announced in February he was ‘changing’ which he said meant ‘letting go’.

He wrote: ‘Not trying harder! Are you tired of trying to follow all of the rules in hopes to get the results you crave?’

He continued: ‘I tried to follow the rules. I’m not good at it. But u don’t need to follow rules to enter into a life of love. U just receive so enter love living!

‘God always grants us love! It’s one of his promises! Upon receiving God’s love! U start to change and start following love.’

In a joint statement, the couple previously described concern over his health as ‘exhausting’ and said he was focused on new music and parenting their newborn son, Jack, who they welcomed in August.
