Justin Bieber has shared an emotional new message about how he has “always felt unworthy” and “selfish”.
Fans have speculated online about Justin Bieber’s wellbeing and mental health recently, causing his represntatives to publicly deny allegations of hard drug use in February. They told TMZ that Justin Bieber looks tired because he’s been parenting his young son with Hailey, Jack Blues Bieber.
Now, Justin has released a heartbreaking statement about his internal struggles. He posted the message to his Instagram. Justin wrote that he feels “sneaky” when people say he deserves success, because he often feels he is “judgemental” and “a fraud”.
He said: “People told me my whole life, ‘Wow, Justin, you deserve that’ and I personally have always felt unworthy. Like I was a fraud.
“Like when people told me I deserve something, it made me feel sneaky like, ‘Damn, if they only knew my thoughts, how judgemental I am, how selfish I really am, they wouldn’t be saying this.’
“I say all this to say. If you feel sneaky, welcome to the club”.
He shared the statement alongside a piece of instrumental music called Sneaky Sneaky.
Justin Bieber’s Instagram story
Last week, Justin Bieber posted another cryptic message on his Instagram story. It read: “We have nothing to prove today. Just the gift of life today to accept and receive. Nothing is owed to us. And we don’t owe anyone anything.” He added a red heart emoji.
Justin Bieber previously spoke about his mental health in 2022 on The Ebro Show. He said: “It’s a journey. I remember when I first got married, I hit a little bit of an emotional breakdown because I thought marriage was going to fix all my problems and it didn’t.”
He continued, “It’s hard sometimes to look in the mirror and really have to realise, man, maybe you’re not the person that you necessarily thought that you were. That’s just a result of trauma and life circumstances.”
