Kaizer Chiefs have lost two of their top defenders in a very short space of time through injuries.
Having recently lost Rushwin Dortley, Chiefs are set to finish the current campaign without Reeve Frosler.
Dortley recently underwent a knee surgery for the injury he suffered in early March, and he is not expected to return soon.
On the other hand, Frosler is nursing a shoulder injury, and like Dortley, he has already done his surgery.

KAIZER CHIEFS LOSE DORTLEY AND FROSLER
Dortley’s injury has come at a cost with his absence felt by the Chiefs defence in the past few matches.
The combination of Given Msimango and Inacio Miguel has not really yielded positive results as they are yet to click.
Now, coach Nasreddine Nabi has another serious problem at the right-back position as he has to make another change.
In Frosler’s absence, which could be until next season, Chiefs may have to utilise either Dillan Solomons or Njabulo Blom.
If not, Amakhosi still have Zitha Kwinika as an option although he has not featured in that role in a long time.
The news of Frosler’s shoulder injury comes at a time when he is about to sign a new deal with Chiefs.
The 27-year-old utility, who has been with Chiefs since 2019, will see his current contract expire in June.
The absence of the two players – Dortley and Frosler – will undoubtedly be dubbed a huge blow for Chiefs, especially with the Nedbank Cup semifinals on the horizon.
The Soweto giants take on last season’s finalists Mamelodi Sundowns in what promises to be an exciting affair.
