Kaizer Chiefs players to wait two more days

Kaizer Chiefs supporters will have another opportunity to watch Amakhosi this weekend.

MANQOBA MNGQITHI TO FACE KAIZER CHIEFS

Following what felt like a very long international break, Nasreddine Nabi‘s side have a response to deliver since the shock 2-0 loss to Richards Bay FC. According to the Premier Soccer League, Kaizer Chiefs will visit Golden Arrows at the Moses Mabhida Stadium at 15:30 on Saturday, March 29, which is only two days away from today, Wednesday, March 26.

BONTLE MOLEFE EARNS HIGH PRAISE

According to Kaizer Chiefs’ goalkeeper assistant, Aubrey Mathibe, Amakhosi have a rough diamond at the Naturena academy.

“I think he is one of the best goalkeepers I’ve ever seen in South Africa,” the Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeping trainer told FARPost. “Sometimes you remember when you’re a goalkeeper, you must be patient. I’ve been there. The good thing is that I’m always talking to him about it. I’ve been at Kaizer Chiefs… I played only two games,” he explained.

“I was there, and then I was committed to my job, and then I was doing well because if you are not doing well for Kaizer Chiefs, you know you’re going to leave. So, such a talented player like him. You need to be patient. You need to keep working hard because only God will answer.

“As a goalkeeper, you’re not like an infield player. Sometimes, you can sit on the bench for two to three years without playing. So, you need to be patient and stay positive.

“But when you get an opportunity, use it well.”

KAIZER CHIEFS FOR STELLENBOSCH FC STAR

Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly not keen on giving up on Stellenbosch FC and Bafana Bafana left-back Fawaaz Basadien.

According to Soccer Laduma, Amakhosi have tabled an improved offer for the 28-year-old defender. “I believe this is a much better and improved bid. It’s about a player that they really need, and they are giving everything to sign him,” a source told the outlet. “We all know it will be an easy one as Stellies are the ones in control, but the Chiefs are determined to sign him, and that’s why they are believed to have tabled a new offer that is more appealing.

“You know, last season, it’s believed they started with around an R50 million budget but increased it in January, and now they want to increase again so that they are closer to the demands of the players they want to sign, including a winger, a striker, and of course, the left back. So with the new increased budget, this could work out,” the source added.
