Kaizer Chiefs defender Given Msimango is making headlines after revealing online that he and his wife, Bontle Makgalo, are expecting.
The Kaizer Chiefs star shared the news in a now-viral Instagram post that has gained thousands of comments and reactions since it was dropped online.

After all, the news comes almost a year after the two tied the knot at a traditional wedding. Reports say the Kaizer Chiefs star has been with Bontle, who became Mrs Msimango last year, for six years.
The two announced on Monday that they are expecting their first child. “Our greatest blessing,” Sphiwe captioned their pregnancy photoshoot.
Confirming the news, Bontle shared photos from their paternity shoot and captioned them, “Our love created life.
“A precious gift from above, we are so thankful for the blessing of parenthood. As we embark on this new journey, we are reminded of the promise of God in Psalm 127:3.”
No doubt, Given Msimango joins a host of Kaizer Chiefs stars who are winning big off the pitch regarding their love life.
Gaston Sirino and his wife welcomed their bundle of joy earlier this year after they announced the news last year.
Surprisingly, the news comes when the star is enjoying his fair share of game time under head coach Nabi.
Msimango has quickly become a regular, and the 27-year-old has had his moments of brilliance in the Kaizer Chiefs jersey.
CAREER
The Kaizer Chiefs defender has since become a darling of many fans. His leadership abilities have seen him wearing the captain’s armband often.
However, Given Msimango’s early career is unknown. He had his senior career debut with Highlands Park before switching to TS Galaxy.
During the 2022 season, he reportedly starred in 30 Premier League fixtures. Rumour mill said he had a physical coach to monitor his performance.
He went on to become the club’s captain before he joined Kaizer Chiefs.
Against his move to Kaizer Chiefs, the TS Galaxy owner revealed why Given Msimango was sold. During his transfer move, he was one of the best players from the TS Galaxy squad of 2022.
“We are realistic as well regarding our business model and how we will build and continue building this business model. Part of the model, of course, will be to follow the likes of Tottenham Hotspur,” he said.
