Ella Forster’s (Paula Lane) jealousy towards Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) explodes in upcoming episodes of Emmerdale ahead of the character’s exit from the show.
Chas and partner Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) were recently involved in the limo crash disaster. After the vehicle got stuck in the middle of an icy lake, Chas, Liam, and plenty of other village residents, were forced to try and walk across the frozen water.
Once Liam had made it across, he supported Chas as she tried to do the same. At one point, she panicked and slipped, meaning Liam had to calm her down so she continue to move across the water.
Pulled to safety, both characters headed to hospital.
As Chas joined Liam in his room, she said that she felt incredibly safe with him during the horrific event. She then proposed, and he said yes.
With Chas and Liam trying to move forward, the last thing they need is Ella sticking her nose in.
Sadly though, that’s exactly what they’re about to get.
In upcoming episodes, John (Oliver Farnworth) tells Aaron (Danny Miller) about his plans to try and get into Chas’ good books.
Later, when Chas and Liam walk into the pub, they find their friends and family ready to celebrate their engagement. As Aaron hopes that John will get all the credit, the mood quickly shifts when Ella arrives.
Sensing an opportunity, John proposes to Aaron, but their joy is short-lived when Mandy (Lisa Riley) announces their engagement to the whole pub – and Chas isn’t exactly thrilled for them.

The awkwardness continues later as Ella decides to rant about Chas to John, and when a drink is then spilled, things come to a head as the two women argue in front of everyone.
As the villagers gossip about their row, concern grows when Chas collapses in the pub and hits her head.
John jumps up and tries to help Chas, but what will happen next?
And how will this impact Ella’s departure?
