A weather system that entered Karachi from Balochistan is causing light showers across various areas of the city,
On Monday evening areas including Gurumandar, PCHS, Saddar, Tariq Road, Surjani Town, North Karachi, and North Nazimabad received light showers.
Despite some light rain currently due to a system moving from Balochistan, Karachi is generally expected to remain mostly dry with partially cloudy skies during this period.
The maximum temperature in the city was recorded at 33.5 degrees Celsius, which is one degree higher than the previous day.
The strong westerly system impacting northern regions will not significantly affect Sindh.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather forecast for February 18-22 follows:
Thunderstorms with heavy winds and snowfall are expected in several parts of the country. Specifically:

The Pothohar region of Punjab (including Murree and Galyat), upper and northeastern Punjab, Islamabad between February 19-21.

Northern and northwestern Balochistan from February 18-20.

Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the same period.

Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir on February 19-20
