Scott, whose body was found in a sack of pineapples, is feared to have been kidnapped and tortured before his eventual death.
Musembi is alleged to have driven a vehicle that carried Scott’s corpse from Piepline Nairobi to Makongo Forest in Makueni county, Kenya.
Prior to his suicide, he was allegedl been hiding at a relative’s house in Dandora, Nairobi.
Detectives say he sought temporary accommodation at a friend’s house in Dandora, and told them that he needed some rest “far away from home” for unknown reasons.
The friend then went to work and left Musembi in the house with the rest of his family, and told his relatives Musembi looked “restless”.
When the friend returned, Musembi appeared to have locked the door from the inside.
He broke the door down to find Musembi lying on the bed with foam frothing out of his mouth and blood pouring from his neck.
