
A man was found stabbed to death in the middle of a suburban street while another suffered potentially life changing injuries in an afternoon attack.
Police were called to Newcombe Road in Earlsdon, Coventry, at 2pm today where they found the victim dead.
Another man was found with serious injuries at the scene.
Kerry Lindsay wrote online: ‘I was coming home from work today and seeing the police cordon was just terrible.
‘Just heartbreaking to hear of another life lost.’
Juliette Bravo added: ‘I saw the police cordon when I was putting the rubbish in our wheelie bin, never thought it was something as serious as this.’
West Midlands Police confirmed they have arrested a man who remains in custody.

They said: ‘We have arrested a man after another man was fatally stabbed in Coventry this afternoon.
‘Officers were called to Newcombe Road just before 2pm after a man was found dead and another man was found with potentially life changing injuries.
‘A man has been detained in connection with the incident and will be questioned in custody.
‘Officers are currently at the scene and there is a cordon in place.’
