Next week on the ITV soap, Manpreet is at breaking point as the blackmail hell pushes her to the edge.

Hoping one final payment will end the nightmare, she nervously heads to the Cricket Pavilion for a face-to-face showdown.

But when Joe appears, she furiously accuses him – only to be left rattled when he pleads his innocence.

With the real blackmailer still at large, Joe makes a shocking offer to help cover the cash.

But will Manpreet take the risk, and is she any closer to uncovering the truth?

Also in Emmerdale, Sarah’s been caught up in the thrill of life on the edge after meeting Kammy, a cheeky thief who’s got her heart racing.

As Mack gets suspicious over a series of local farm thefts, Ross drives around in a flash new pick-up, and trouble brews when a quad bike goes missing from Moira’s farm.

Sarah bumps into Kammy on a country lane, and though she’s suspicious of his story, she’s drawn to his street-smart charm.

Despite his nerves, Kammy’s caught off guard when Sarah covers for him – and even gets in on the action.

But when Sarah’s caught racing stolen bikes across the fields, the question remains: how will Charity react to her getting closer to Kammy’s dangerous world?


Meanwhile, John is desperate to win over Chas, but his plans take a wild turn when he throws a surprise engagement bash for her and Liam at The Woolpack.

Keen to impress, Aaron makes sure John gets the credit – but the night takes an awkward twist when Ella accidentally gatecrashes.

Things heat up when John drops to one knee and pops the question to Aaron, who says yes!

But their moment of joy is quickly ruined when Mandy overhears and announces their engagement to the entire pub.

It was revealed to be doctor Lindsey Butterfield who had been killing people at the hospital.

Chas is far from thrilled, and as she secretly shares her doubts with Aaron, she has no idea John is eavesdropping.

Tensions mount as John grows paranoid over Chas’ disapproval – and with Ella badmouthing Chas behind closed doors, things soon reach boiling point.

A spilled drink sparks a furious bust-up between Chas and Ella, leaving the whole village gossiping.

But the drama doesn’t stop there.

As John worries about his standing with Chas, she suddenly collapses in the pub, hitting her head.

Will John be the one to save her – and finally get on her good side?
