South African-born billionaire Elon Musk claims that the media has deliberately failed to report on what he refers to as the “white genocide” occurring in South Africa.
The world’s richest man was responding to a tweet from Ada Lluch on X (formerly known as Twitter), where she mentioned a South African political party “advocating for the deaths of the white population”.
“If it wasn’t for @ElonMusk and X in general, I’d have no idea there is an entire political party in South Africa advocating for the deaths of their white population. How is this not one of the biggest stories out there right now among the mainstream media, too? In Spain, almost no one at all is aware of this,” @ada_lluch posted.
Elon Musk explains why media doesn’t write stories about “white genocide”
Elon Musk was one of the thousand accounts that commented on her post. “The legacy media never mentions white genocide in South Africa, because it doesn’t fit their narrative that whites can be victims,” said the world’s richest man from Pretoria.
This past weekend, Elon Musk accused Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema of promoting “white genocide”. Malema performed the Apartheid-era struggle song Kill the Boer during the party’s rally on Human Rights Day.
“Very few people know that there is a major political party in South Africa that is actively promoting white genocide… A whole arena chanting about killing white people,” Musk posted. He also questioned the lack of global media coverage on the matter.
“Where is the outrage? Why is there no coverage by the legacy media?”
Elon Musk’s tweet has received mixed reactions, with many questioning whether white genocide exists in South Africa.
