Kaizer Chiefs have secured the future of Ashley Du Preez at Amakhosi.
As confirmed via iDiski Times last week, the 27-year-old winger-striker has penned a new two-year deal since he arrived at Kaizer Chiefs from Stellenbosch FC in 2022. “Kaizer Chiefs have acted swiftly to tie down forward Ashley du Preez on a new two-year contract,” the report said. “iDiski Times can now confirm the player has signed until July 2027, which will no doubt come as a welcome boost to Chiefs upon his recent return to fitness,” added Kohler.
Meanwhile, the Kaizer Chiefs forward has shared his thoughts: “To be honest, I’ve heard that they’re going to renew my contract,” Du Preez said. “For me it’s to [work hard]… they trust me. For me, it’s to give back to them, the club. And to work on getting a better contract as a player. So, for me, it’s to give back to the club.”
