RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County School System has announced that the class of 2025 will be graduating from a new location.
According to the RCSS website, the 2025 Spring Graduation ceremony will be held on May 28th-30th at the Bell Auditorium on 712 Telfair Street in Augusta.
The schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, May 28
Academy of Richmond County, 8 a.m.
John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School, 11 a.m.
Hephzibah High School, 2:30 p.m.
A. R. Johnson Health Science and Engineering Magnet School, 5:30 p.m.
Thursday, May 29
T. W. Josey High School, 8 a.m.
Cross Creek High School, 11 a.m.
Westside High School, 2:30 p.m.
Glenn Hills High School, 5:30 p.m.
Friday, May 30
Richmond County Technical Career Magnet School, 8 a.m.
G. P. Butler High School, 11 a.m.
Lucy C. Laney High School, 2:30 p.m.
Also, the website states that each graduate will receive 8 tickets for family members and friends, but graduates do not need a ticket to enter.
According to the RCSS Facebook page, links to the live streams of the ceremonies can be accessed on the RCSS homepage and the school’s page one hour prior to the start time.
Noise makers and balloons are prohibited inside the venue, and the Augusta Entertainment Complex has a Clear Bag Policy in place for commencement, which includes all patrons being limited to one (1) 12″ X 12″ X 6″ clear bag and no larger than one (1) 8.5″ X 5.5″ (or the size of half of a sheet of paper) handheld clutch.
