It’s 2025 and one of the best catchphrases from the noughties is about to make a huge comeback… ‘HELLO!’

To celebrate 25 years of Trigger Happy TV, Dom Joly is bringing back the disruptive sketch show for a new nationwide UK tour.

Trigger Happy TV was the epitome of Channel 4’s determination to cause as much chaos as possible throughout the noughties.

Essentially, the show followed Joly pulling various pranks on unsuspecting passersby across the streets of the UK.

One minute he was armed with a giant Nokia phone shouting inappropriate remarks in front of appalled onlookers the next he was dressed as a snail crawling across the road as traffic piled up and frustrated drivers helplessly waited for him to get to the other side.

It was a stroke of genius arguably responsible for an onslaught of prank shows that followed.
