Tim has quickly become one of MAFS Australia’s biggest villains for the way he treated his wife Katie, and even his own groomsman has called him out.
As soon as the pair were matched, Tim was very open about the fact he didn’t fancy her and told the producers she wasn’t who he asked for.
Things went from bad to worse on the honeymoon, and he gobsmackingly blamed Katie for not facing him at the first dinner party.
But let’s go back to the wedding day for a minute, because Luke Stapleton, who was one of Tim’s groomsmen, has had a lot to say.
Speaking on the So Dramatic! podcast, the friend slammed Tim’s behaviour and revealed they had a massive falling out “not too long after the show had filmed” and “haven’t spoken in months”.
He started by saying the whole thing was “handled far from how it should have been” by Tim and confirmed that what was shown on TV was actually said “in the context he delivered it”.

“The worst one – because I didn’t see it actually on the day of filming – was when he called the producer aside and was like ‘What the fu*k, this is not what I want, I’m embarrassed’,” he said.
“I was literally gobsmacked with what came out of his mouth when he got pulled aside by the producer. I was shattered for her, I thought she was hilarious.”
He said Tim was “punching” with Katie and gushed about the bride, calling her lovely, bubbly, friendly, funny and successful.
“What you saw, from him making that decision, the only thing they spoke was literally what you saw on camera,” he continued.
“They did the vows, they walked down the aisle but then they got taken their separate ways instantly. There wasn’t even any general chit-chat, it was just, he looked at her and made up his mind.”
“It was so hard to watch that final scene as well when they were sitting on the couch and he was gaslighting her, basically saying it’s her fault and like, putting it on her to decide if they want to go on the honeymoon.”
“I think good things will come for her,” the groomsman concluded. “But not so much for Tim.” Brutal!
Luke thought Tim was a “genuine” person before he went on the show, but now he’s seen his former friend’s true colours.
