President Asif Ali Zardari was admitted to a private hospital in Karachi’s Clifton area on Tuesday, following a sudden deterioration in his health.
As reported, he was rushed to the hospital at 4 AM under tight security due to complications arising from a fever and infection.
According to the sources, Zardari is currently receiving treatment in the executive ward of the hospital, with a team of doctors closely monitoring his condition.
Security measures around the hospital have been significantly heightened, with personnel from the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) and police deployed to ensure safety.
Several senior leaders from the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) were present at the hospital, and Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori contacted Zardari’s physician, Dr. Asim Hussain, to inquire about his health.
