A significant number of Jewish leaders and activists in the United States have publicly condemned President Donald Trump’s proposal to remove Palestinians from Gaza.
This condemnation was expressed through a full-page advertisement in The New York Times, signed by more than 350 rabbis and dozens of prominent Jewish figures, including Tony Kushner, Ilana Glazer, Naomi Klein, and Joaquin Phoenix.
The ad strongly rejects Trump’s plan as “ethnic cleansing,” emphasizing that such actions are morally unacceptable and reminiscent of historical atrocities like the Nazi attempt to make Germany “Judenrein” (cleansed of Jews).
The list includes rabbis from diverse denominations and notable public figures who are vocal about their opposition to any form of ethnic cleansing.

Critics argue that forced displacement could violate international law, potentially constituting crimes against humanity under the Rome Statute.
The initiative aims to assure Palestinians that they are not alone in this struggle and emphasizes commitment to preventing ethnic cleansing in Gaza.
On the other hand, Dozens of Malaysians took to the streets of Kuala Lumpur on Friday to protest US President Donald Trump’s plans to take over the Gaza Strip, transfer its Palestinian population to other countries, and rebuild the territory into the “Riviera of the Middle East”.
