Rohit Sharma has made history by becoming the first captain in the world to lead a team to the final of all four major ICC men’s tournaments: the ODI World Cup, T20 World Cup, ICC Champions Trophy, and World Test Championship (WTC).
India secured their third ICC Champions Trophy title by defeating New Zealand by four wickets in the 2025 final on March 9.
Rohit Sharma played a blistering knock of 76 runs, smashing three sixes and seven fours. His responsible innings earned him the Player of the Match award.
