The Springboks carry the hopes of a nation with the eyes of the world. This is priceless to SA yet costly to unions hosting these Boks.
The Springboks are the reigning, defending Rugby World Champions.
Meaning, the value of the Boks stars has continued to sky-rocket with each season. Let’s take a look at the earnings of our skipper, Siya Kolisi.
SIYA KOLISI’S PAYCHECK AT THE SHARKS REVEALED
According to Mywage, Kolisi earns roughly R18.6 million (R18 610 529) annually.
As reported on The South African, this equates to roughly R1.55 million (R1 550 877) per month. This equates to a staggering R358k per week (R357 894) and an estimate of R71 578 daily.
This makes the Springbok skipper one of the highest-paid SA Rugby stars. Understandably, after all, he is the captain. He has donned the captains armband with passion, dedication and commitment.
Kolisi is the personification of passion and dedication. The elusive loose forward and flanker is a role model to millions of young boys. Not just, in SA but around the world. So, it comes as no surprise that the Sharks and Springboks captain earns so handsomely.
SHARKS SKIPPER AMONGST SPRINGBOKS HIGHEST-PAID
Kolisi is one of the highest-paid Springboks.
However, the Bok skipper is not the highest-paid. Moreover, several top Springboks take home bigger salaries with the likes of Cheslin Kolbe, Eben Etzebeth, Handre Pollard and Faf de Klerk all earning huge money at their clubs.
Stay tuned to The South African as we reveal how much each top Springboks star earns.
