‘The man that inspired it’: Zozi sings to husband on wedding day

Former Miss Universe and Miss SA (2019) Zozibini Tunzi revealed that she wrote a song two years ago, which she sang to her husband on their wedding day on Saturday 22 March.

ZOZIBINI TUNZI ON SINGING A SONG FOR HER HUSBAND ON WEDDING DAY

Zozibini Tunzi shocked her fans and followers when she shared photos of her wedding day on Instagram, via a post on Sunday 23 March, a day after her white wedding. The former Miss Universe, who did not previously post about her boyfriend, had a low-key wedding. However, some of Mzansi’s celebrities were in attendance, such as Nomzamo Mbatha and Anele Mdoda.

Anele shared an Instagram Story of the song Zozi performed for her husband. Zozi then took to her Instagram Story to reveal that she wrote the song two years ago when she was in love, and sang it for the first time on the day she married the man, that inspired the song.

“Muneyi was teaching me how to write music and on this particular day he asked me how I was feeling at that point in my life. I told him I was in love,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

“Then we started writing. We left that song untouched until yesterday when I sang it for the first time for the man that inspired it on our wedding day. Felt really fitting,” she continued.

RUMOURS OF A TRADITIONAL WEDDING

Radio content producer Simmy Freddy claimed, via a post, that Zozibini and her husband will have their traditional wedding on Saturday 29 March in the Eastern Cape. Freddy shared images of what appears to be the traditional wedding invite, which includes what may be the name of Zozi’s husband, Luthando Bolowana.

As per the invite, it seems Zozi and her husband’s traditional wedding is set to take place on Saturday 29 March, at Sidwadweni AA, Mdeni Location, Tsolo in the Eastern Cape. The invite also says the dress code is Xhosa traditional attire. However, there is no current proof that this invite is in fact that of Zozi and her husband’s. Take a look here.
