MAMELODI SUNDOWNS STALL THEMBA ZWANE’S CONTRACT TALKS
With a glittering profile of eight Premier Soccer League titles and the CAF Champions League gold medal with the club, Sundowns are yet to table a new contract offer for the 35-year-old attacker for the Tembisa-born maestro. The former M Tigers and Vardos FC star last signed a one-year extension in August 2024. We’re now in April, and the deal is coming to an end in June.
According to FARPost, Sundowns have decided to continue assessing Zwane’s injury before offering a new deal. The 47-capped Bafana Bafana has been out since the start of the season due to an Achilles tendon.
