Skin Salvation
The Skin Salvation Balm has been formulated from natural ingredients for an ultra soothing and calming salve. The award-winning fragrance-free formula has been crafted from a blend of seed and botanical oils, which include beeswax, olive, safflower, and hemp oil, as well as calendula, chamomile extract. The balm is not only deeply hydrating for dry, cracked, and irritated skin, but it aims to support the skin barrier from further damage.
Anthony – who plays Abbi Montgomery in the series – insisted the natural balm helps soothe dry and itchy patches of skin as a result of Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW).
Anthony has bravely opened up about the condition on social media, and in a medley of posts has credited Balmonds for providing that much-needed relief.
In one Instagram upload the singer-songwriter hailed Balmonds Skin Salvation a ‘saviour’.
Speaking in the clip, Anthony shared: ‘I tend to wake up at the same time every day. I head to the shower where I use Balmond’s Cleansing Oil to wash my face, and then the Hand and Body Wash to wash any other parts of my body. I then use their Daily Moisturiser, and over any dry bits I use their Skin Salvation Balm, which has been a saviour this time round in TSW.’
‘There aren’t going to be any products that heal you magically, so I think it’s about finding brands you trust, which, for me, is Balmonds. It has natural ingredients, and I understand the ingredients list, which makes it easier to introduce things. If you are consistent you become better at reading your body – what it can and can’t handle, which is really important, and something I have really learnt since using Balmonds.’
‘Just having a brand I feel is safe, and I can come back to is so important. Routine and Balmonds have allowed me to do that.’
But Anthony is not the only fan of the brand, or the Skin Salvation Balm. Lucy-Jo revealed she relies on the product to combat her son’s flare ups.
In a separate post, she shared: ‘I have done my research and I have found THE BEST skincare range for her…. It’s called @balmonds_skincare. Have you heard of it? It’s been going for years and I’ve been using this brand for Carter and his skin allergies (the SkinSalvation balm is unreal for eczema prone skin), but I didn’t know they did a tween skin care range until I started looking into it.’
Hollyoaks’ Jessica – who is best known for playing Nancy Hayton in the series – weighed in: ‘I always harp on about is [Balmonds] Skin Salvation! Little secret – any dry patches on you or your baby, sore patches, this is great!’

The Skin Salvation Balm is such a hit with people of all ages, and is safe to use on young children, because it is fragrance-free, and has been made from natural ingredients to avoid any irritation on sensitive skin.
The balm has been formulated using beeswax, olive, safflower, and hemp oil, as well as calendula, chamomile extract, which combine to nourish and calm dry, itchy and flaky skin. It also functions to provide a protective barrier on the skin to prevent water loss that could contribute to further dryness.
The award-winning balm has been dermatologically tested and paediatrician-approved, so rest assured this salve is safe for use.
Simply apply to the problem area and leave to do its magic. It can be applied any time of day to prevent irritation, though if used as a deep overnight mask Balmonds has suggested wrapping the area covered in the balm in a clean and soft fabric or gauze to help lock the moisture in.
The Skin Salvation Balm is available in three sizes, 30ml, 50ml and 120ml, and the price varies from £9, £15, to £22 respectively.

However, Balmonds currently has an offer on, which enables customers to shop two 50ml tubs of the ointment and get one free.
It is unknown how long the deal will last, so we recommend you stock up before it’s too late.
Just in case you needed a little extra convincing, the testimonials from other shoppers are equally impressive.
One reviewer wrote: ‘Every dry patch I’ve applied to it has healed.’
Another gushed: ‘Love this cream. Great for my acne and feels so good on my skin.’
While another shared: ‘I’m amazed!!! After years of struggling with my eczema around my mouth and trying so many different products I’ve finally found the one! It was like magic! After the first use my flared up itchy red skin around my mouth calmed down, and since then I have had no problems!’
