WARD, S.C. (WJBF) – Two people are dead after a shooting took place in Ward, S.C. on Monday, according to the Saluda County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials state that at approximately 5:45 p.m. on March 31, deputies responded to 271 Valpro Road in reference to a shooting incident.
It was there that deputies located the body of a deceased woman and the body of a deceased man.
The Saluda County Sheriff’s Office and the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division’s Crime Scene Unit are processing the crime scene. According to officials, evidence shows that the incident was isolated and the public is not at threat.
