The latest MAFS episode saw the couples move into the apartments and savagely rank the entire cast based on attractiveness – but some important parts weren’t shown between Ryan and Jacqui.
Things got awkward as the groom waited until the end to place his new wife. Then, rather than putting her in first place, he put her THIRD behind Rhi and Carina. Ouch!
Jacqui just sat there with a very cold look on her face and we saw her crying to the camera after, but one of her pals has revealed they actually had a major unaired argument, and it’s not about what you’d think.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, they said: “Jacqui was crying, but not for the reason they made it look.”
“She wasn’t hurt that Ryan put her third – she was upset about being matched with a man who lacked the emotional intelligence or depth to truly put her first.”
“She even said in a piece-to-camera that she would have also ranked Rhi and Morena ahead of herself, but that part never made the cut.”
So, apparently she wasn’t annoyed about the ranking at all, she was crying because she just didn’t like her match.

The friend claimed the producers were disappointed Jacqui didn’t react more, so they edited in a crying scene from a completely different moment to “ramp up the drama”.
“Ryan thinks he’s doing the right thing, but the reality is, Jacqui never asked for brutal honesty – she wanted to feel like the most special girl in the world,” they continued.
“Jacqui just wanted a husband who prioritised her and makes her feel beautiful and special.”
“That task was a big disappointment for her because it just confirmed what she already suspected – Ryan wasn’t the man she had hoped for.”
From the start, she was clear that she wanted someone intelligent, but instead she got someone who “thought ranking her like a contestant in a beauty pageant was the right move”.
Um, it was the producers who told him to rank the brides, he didn’t do it off his own accord, but whatever you say Jacqui.
