An urgent search is underway for a 15-year-old girl who has been missing for three days.
Layla Anderson was last seen in the area of Scott Street in Houghton-le-Spring, Tyne and Wear, at around 11.15pm on Tuesday.
Officers and her family are becoming more and more worried for her safety.
Northumbria Police has now issued a desperate appeal for help in finding her.
Layla is described as a white female, about 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build.
She has long black hair and a scar on her forehead.
The teenager was last seen wearing black flared trousers and a black padded jacket.
Layla, or anyone who knows where she might be, should contact Northumbria Police by sending a direct message on social media or using the live chat function on the force’s website.
