The Super Bowl 59 on Sunday featured a clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles in which the former faced a crushing defeat of 40-22 at the hands of the latter.

Eagles Fan’s ‘Voodoo’ Ritual Video Goes Viral Amid Patrick Mahomes’ Super Bowl 59 Struggles

As already stated Kansas City Chiefs suffered a humiliating defeat and left Patrick Mahomes’ fans heartbroken. Fans are also discussing the alleged video of the woman using a voodoo doll of the Chiefs’ quarterback and repeatedly jabbing it with a pin while rocking to and fro on her seat. The incident was captured by an Eagles fan on camera.

The bizarre video has spawned heated debate on social media with some fans finding it funny while others who blamed her actions for the Chief’s debacle.

One user stated on X,

“Finally found something that works against the Chiefs!!”

A second user stated,

“I tried to think of something funny to say, but I can’t. This is just too creepy for me.”

A third user was more serious and wrote,

“They need to be found and held accountable. Black magic is real and dangerous. We’ll need the clergy for this one.”

Similar sentiments were posted by another user,

“That’s black magic. I bet she had something on that boy. I have never seen him play that bad.”

Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes put on a brave face after the humiliating Super Bowl Loss and took full responsibility for the loss.

Patrick Mahomes said,

“I take ownership in the loss, probably more than any one in my career. I put us in some bad spots.”

He also stated that the ripple effects of his follies also led to the debacle and added that his bad play made the performance of his team even worse.

Mahomes admitted,

“There’s times when guys aren’t open, I need to throw the ball away or check it down and let guys make plays happen. Sometimes, I get to where I want to make a big play to spark us. That’s something I’ve dealt with my entire career. If I don’t show I’ll take what’s there in the game, the defenses are going to stay in the coverages they’re in.”

Voodoo or not Mahomes was not playing at his best and the twice-crowned Most Valuable Player was struggling to find his rhythm and Chief’s offence was also deplorable. It could be anything from caving in to pressure, or a bad game strategy or even voodoo by a mystical fan. Of course, fans will be closely watching the Philadelphia Eagles fan and her actions in future matches.
