Thanks to his huge social media following, Amapiano star Sir Trill often trends whenever he posts or gets posted.
The celebrated vocalist and producer is trending after he was spotted taking a spin in a sleek Mercedes-Benz worth millions.
SIR TRILL SPOTTED DRIVING A SLEEK R4.4 MILLION MERCEDES-BENZ
Since it was posted online, the clip has gained thousands of comments and reactions. The muso is spotted driving a Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 in the now-viral clip.
Against the now-viral clips, netizens flooded social media with congratulatory messages. However, Sir Trill has yet to confirm the news of the alleged purchase.
Petrolheads quickly gave the car a nod while others tried to figure out the car’s price tag.
The publication has since noted that he was driving a sleek Mercedes-Benz with a base price tag of around R4.4 million at several dealerships nationwide.
A STAPLE FOR SOUTH AFRICAN CELEBS
After all, with his alleged purchase, Sir Trill joins a host of celebrities who have splurged thousands, if not millions, on the sleek Mercedes-Benz.
Earlier this year DJ Maphorisa took to social media to flaunt his alleged G63 in a subtle flex. Last year, Kabza De Small and DJ Black Coffee were spotted driving their Mercedes-Benz G63s.
However, the rumour mill has it that DJ Black Coffee’s whip is around R6 million thanks to its trims and modifications from Race1.
In February this year, Springbok star Eben Etzebeth set social media abuzz after sharing a photo next to a sleek R5.4 million Mercedes-Benz G63 Grand Edition.
Surprisingly, only 20 units are in South Africa from a global production run of 1000.
MAKING HEADLINES
His alleged purchase comes after he was said to be down and out. The news came after Sir Trill revealed that he hadn’t received a cent from his music catalogue, which is worth millions in 2023.
Speaking to the media, the amapiano sensation said, “It’s tiring and mentally damaging. So many hits, and I’ve never seen a cent. I’m tired.”
Sir Trill added, “Never been an artist that talks much or exposes much. This will be a joke to some of you, which I understand. But it’s mentally damaging and exhausting. What are we working so much for?”
