Manchester United, Tottenham and Rangers are all keeping a close eye on the Europa League play-offs ahead of the last-16.
All three teams finished in the top eight of the Europa League league phase, meaning that they avoided the added stress of a two-legged play-off tie this month.
United finished third in the table on 18 points, while Tottenham finished in fourth spot with 17 points from their eight league games.
Rangers, meanwhile, looked on the brink of being forced into the play-offs before a 2-1 win over Union St.Gilloise secured an eighth-placed finish in the league.
With the first legs of the Europa League play-offs now finished, United, Spurs and Rangers now have a slighter clearer idea of who they could play in the knockout phase.
Once the second legs of the play-offs are finished next Thursday, a draw will be made to determine which side of the draw each Europa League team will be for the remainder of the tournament, which will give every club a clear pathway to the final.
