Liverpool and Newcastle United collide in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley this afternoon.
Arne Slot’s side are back after winning the competition last season after beating Chelsea in the capital.
While the Premier League title appears to be in their grasp, Liverpool’s Champions League hopes came to an end against Paris Saint-Germain midweek.
But there is still hope for a domestic double in Slot’s first season on Merseyside.
Newcastle meanwhile suffered final heartbreak in 2023 when they were beaten by Manchester United with it now 55 years since the Magpies last one a piece of major silverware.
