WWE fans were stunned as Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton took some very personal digs at each other on SmackDown.

The two rivals, who are set to clash for Tiffany’s WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 41 in two weeks, met in the ring for a battle on the microphone but things seemed to go off the rails with the Chicago crowd loudly booing the Queen.

Both superstars appeared to be getting more personal as things went on, before the champ delivered a brutal dig about her on-screen rival’s recent divorce from Andrade.

‘When it’s all said and done, you’re gonna be just like you are outside of the ring — alone,’ she told Charlotte, adding: ‘What is that record? 0-3?’

The number was a direct reference her number of divorces, while Charlotte immediately fired back: ‘Is that why Kaiser’s in my DMs?’

Following the segment, which left fans baffled, Fightful reporter Sean Ross Sapp wrote on X: ‘Everyone I’m speaking to believes that Charlotte and Tiffany Stratton went heavily off script.’

WWE has since removed the personal comments from its digital version of the segment on YouTube and X, as well as deleting a post featuring them from the social media platform.

Viewers were shocked by what they were witnessing, convinced the two stars took matters into their own hands with the remarks.

‘The crowd gave Charlotte Flair no chance! Tiffany Stratton had a few hey makers in her promo but that was ugly… To win she had to go off script and get personal. This was sad to see,’ wrote @DennisDindayal.

‘That Charlotte and Tiffany promo definitely felt off script and very personal,’ added @Kizi522, while @Ramon3MR said: ‘That segment with Charlotte and Tiffany was intense.’

‘Actually feel bad for Charlotte for how that promo went lol, she was pretty much gagged by the Chicago crowd booing the hell out of her and praising Tiffany,’ Kling5013 wrote.

‘And then the last [part] seemed like it personal/was off script!🤯 #SmackDown’

‘That promo between Tiffany and Charlotte was WILD. My gosh hahaha 😂😂😂 #Smackdown,’ tweeted @atownmania, and @hornswoggled513 said: ‘That segment between Charlotte and Tiffany omg. That was messy as hell Jesus 😭😭😭’

Just this week, Charlotte fought back tears talking to Sherri Shephard about her divorce for the first times, admitting she felt like a failure.

‘I felt like I was failing at my job. I felt like I was failing in my personal life and the embarrassment of being divorced again and being compared to my father,’ she said.

And she recently admitted 2024 was the ‘hardest year’ she’s had since her brother Reid died aged 25 in 2013.

‘It was the hardest year I’ve ever had since my brother passed away, and I wouldn’t change anything. It made me realise that I would choose this path again and again and again,’ she exclusively told Metro.

She also referenced her recent side-by-side interview with Tiffany on SmackDown, where the champion appeared flustered by Charlotte’s razor sharp comments.

‘I have learned that I am someone that Tiffany looked up to,’ she added, revealing why she went in so strongly.

‘So for me, if I am the Charlotte Flair that she looked up to, the Charlotte Flair that she wanted to be like, then there is no way that Charlotte Flair is going to take it easy on anyone.’

WWE WrestleMania is streaming live on April 19 and 20. Tune in via Netflix.
