Congratulations are in order for X Factor legend Eoghan Quigg, who has revealed he’s secretly married his partner Amy in Las Vegas.
The Northern Irish singer was a contestant on the ITV talent competition in 2008, impressing judges Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue, Louis Walsh and Cheryl.
He made it all the way to the final, finishing in third place after JLS and winner Alexandra Burke.
Eoghan then went on to compete to represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014, but finished in second place.
Now, the dad-of-two looks very different from his days soaring to fame.
The 32-year-old surprised his followers on Sunday when he revealed he and Amy had married in Las Vegas, not long after getting down on one knee.

During their trip to America, Eoghan had proposed to Amy in Central Park, sharing the happy news on February 28.
He then wrote on Sunday: ‘So we’ve been keeping a little secret 👀 What happens in Vegas..’
The clip showed Eoghan getting down on one knee to a surprised Amy, before cutting to them outside The Little White Chapel in Las Vegas, with the bride wearing a white minidress and veil and carrying a bouquet.
He was showered with congratulatory messages from fans and friends alike, having posted the news after returning home.

In a separate post, Eoghan wrote ‘A lot can change in 5 days’, as he shared a picture of them at the airport, captioned: ‘Left Ireland as my partner.’
A second image saw Amy showing off her ring as the couple beamed in a selfie, and said: ‘Left New York as my fiancé.’
And a final snap showed them in the chapel, hand in hand, with the caption stating: ‘Left Las Vegas as my wife.’
Eoghan and Amy welcomed their daughter Emmy Belle in 2021 and son Camden Eoghan in 2023, with Amy also mum to two children from a previous relationship.
The couple, who have been together since 2015, live in Derry, and share clips of their personal lives on TikTok and Instagram.
As well as continuing to sing as part of a wedding band and making social media content, Eoghan had a short stint as a footballer following his X Factor days.

He signed for Coagh United FC in 2015, later joining Portstewart FC.
His first album, titled Eoghan Quigg, came out in 2009, and he also featured in TV show Dani’s House, playing himself, as well as appearing as a guest on Alan Carr: Chatty Man and Harry Hill’s TV Burp.
Last year, Eoghan reflected on his rise to fame as a teenager, having auditioned for The X Factor when he was 15 years old.

The radio presenter said he had ‘so many fond memories’ of his time on the talent competition and considers himself ‘one of the lucky ones’, having had a good experience.
However, he revealed he wouldn’t want his children to follow in his footsteps, telling Belfast Live: ‘I wouldn’t want my children to do it, it’s tough and there is so much more social media about now.
‘I just think nowadays kids see so much on internet and there is a lot of pressures to look a certain way.
‘There wasn’t as much negativity around when I was on the show.’

He continued: ‘I had to quickly learn not everyone is going to like you, you have to just live with it and get on with it.
‘I grew up really quickly, I was just a kid in school that came from a normal, working-class family. It went from 0-100, my world was turned upside down.
‘But everyone back home was really supportive and I think 99.9% of teenagers would rather be on the X-Factor than studying for their GCSEs.
‘I never had any anxiety, I really had the right people around me and after the show I had a great tour manager.’

The star looks very different these days, nearly two decades after hitting screens as a teenager.
He recently shared the results of a hair transplant he underwent in Turkey, saying he had been ‘affected mentally’ by his hair ‘thinning and receding’.
Sharing the journey on Instagram over the years, Eoghan showed his raw scalp midway through the transplant, saying he wanted to help other people going through similar experiences.

Months earlier, Eoghan shared a lengthy post about his decision to have the transplant.
He said on Facebook in 2020: ‘9 months ago today I finally bit the bullet and decided to get a hairline transplant as it was something I had being looking into for a few years because unfortunately for me genetics weren’t so kind.
‘Fast forward to today and I have to say it is the best decision I have ever made. For men, loosing their hair can be such a stressful experience and one that we maybe don’t often open up or talk about enough.
‘As big strong fellas society tells us to man up and go bald gracefully and for some men that works but for others it doesn’t and can really affect us mentally.
‘I know that from my experience when I started to notice my hair thinning and receding I was so insecure about it and I always tried to cover it up and successfully did for years.
‘Since getting the hairline transplant and being open and honest about it, I’ve had so many men and women messaging me to say fair play, how they want to get it done, asking how do they go about it, cost, aftercare, does it really work etc and it’s been so refreshing actually finding out how many people where feeling how I used to feel and that I wasn’t the only one.’
He went on to say that he’d become an ambassador for the transplant company in Turkey he went to and wanted to help others considering the experience.
‘Let’s face it, life is short so we may as well try and look our best for most of it!’ he said.
